James just crossed a million dollars per month. He’s one of 15 Inner Circle members who’ve hit that milestone. But even at seven figures monthly, he still feels like the dumbest person in the room. And that’s exactly why he stays. During a recent conversation with Jeremy Haynes, James broke down what components of the Inner Circle deliver the most value, why repetitive lessons matter more than new information sometimes, and the one thing that got him to a million-dollar month faster than anything else.
James operates with a simple philosophy. If he feels like the dumbest person in the room, he’s in the right room. That’s where growth happens.
“I always like to say if I feel like I’m the dumbest person in the room then I’m in the right room because I like to grow,” James explained.
Even members doing five times less revenue than James have lessons to teach him. Things he doesn’t know. Perspectives he hasn’t considered. Growth isn’t linear. It comes from all directions.
Whatever income level you’re at, whether it’s $100,000 per month, $200,000 per month, or over a million like James, there’s always something to learn. And there’s always something to teach.
Teaching reinforces learning. When James has conversations with other members and teaches what he’s learned, it reinforces those lessons in his own mind. Then he goes back and implements them in his business with even more clarity.
The Inner Circle includes four main components. Quarterly in-person masterminds. Weekly group calls every Saturday morning. Twice-monthly one-on-one calls with Haynes. And a private Telegram group chat.
James gravitates toward the Telegram group. He’s not always active. But he watches people talking, communicating, collaborating. It’s a supportive environment where everyone helps each other.
When James has a problem, he posts it in the group. Within hours, he’ll have at least six people responding. Sometimes a dozen. They offer solutions. They connect him with the right person. They solve problems in real time.
“I would pay tens of thousands of dollars just to be in that telegram group,” James said without hesitation.
That’s the network effect. Not just access to Haynes. Access to 100-plus entrepreneurs at various stages solving similar problems at scale. People who’ve been where you are. People who are ahead of where you want to be. All willing to share what’s working right now.
James also values the Saturday morning weekly group calls. Haynes teaches something. Often it’s new information James hasn’t encountered before. Other times it’s a repeat lesson.
But repetition isn’t a downside. It’s accountability.
“I need someone to tell me 50 times before I do it,” James admitted.
When a lesson gets repeated, it doesn’t feel like wasted time. It feels like reinforcement. A reminder to stay on track. A push to actually implement what he already knows instead of chasing the next shiny tactic.
Some people worry that paid groups just recycle the same content. James sees it differently. New lessons deliver value. But so do repeated lessons. One teaches you something you didn’t know. The other holds you accountable to do what you already know.
The combination creates momentum. You’re not just collecting information. You’re implementing it consistently over time.
When asked for the one thing that got him to a million-dollar month, James didn’t hesitate. Testing.
“He who tests most wins. Always be testing,” he said.
Test products. Test prices. Test demographics. Test your own assumptions that your way is the right way. Never stop testing.
Most businesses plateau because they stop testing. They find something that works and ride it until it stops working. Then they panic. Then they scramble.
Winners test constantly. Even when things are working. Especially when things are working. That’s when you have the capital and bandwidth to test aggressively without risking the entire operation.
James added a bonus principle. Surround yourself with people who are either 10 years more experienced than you or have generated 10 times more income or revenue than you.
For James, that’s Haynes. Ten years more experience in the exact area of his business where he needed help. That proximity accelerated growth faster than any course or content could.
From feeling like the dumbest person in the room to hitting a million-dollar month and continuing to scale beyond it. From valuing the Telegram group at tens of thousands of dollars just for the real-time problem-solving to appreciating repetitive lessons for the accountability they create. From testing everything relentlessly to surrounding himself with people 10 years ahead or 10 times bigger. James proved that growth at scale isn’t about finding one silver bullet. It’s about stacking advantages. Access to the right network. Accountability through repetition. Relentless testing. And proximity to people who’ve already solved the problems you’re facing right now.
