After helping businesses scale for over a decade through agency work, consulting deals, and working with students in my Inner Circle (a private, application-gated mastermind), I’ve identified what separates operators who break through from those who stay stuck at the same revenue level for years. I call it tweaker mode.

Results are not typical. Your results will vary and depend entirely on your individual capacity, business experience, expertise, and level of desire. There are no guarantees concerning the level of success you may experience. The testimonials and examples used are not intended to represent or guarantee that anyone will achieve the same or similar results. We don’t believe in get-rich-quick programs. We believe in hard work, adding value and serving others. As stated by law, we can not and do not make any guarantees about your own ability to get results or earn any money with our information, courses, programs, or strategies.

This is not motivational theory. It is an operational mindset that changes how you approach problems, how fast you move on unanswered questions, and how you build momentum in your business.

Why Speed Matters More Than Perfect Conditions

Tweaker mode centers on speed, not reckless speed, but intentional, urgent execution. Business owners who operate this way don’t function on random, undetermined timeframes. They don’t let problems collect dust.

High-performing operators accomplish more in their 24 hours than most people do in a week. That’s not luck or random chance. That’s a different way of operating.

The operators who’ve built substantial businesses all share this trait. They move differently. They execute differently. They don’t let unanswered questions stall their progress.

Every Unanswered Question in Your Business Equals Stalled Progress

Most business owners miss this fundamental truth: every unanswered question in your business equals stalled progress. You literally cannot move forward when you’re sitting at a fork in the road without knowing which direction to take.

One member joined my Inner Circle while running a service business. First day in, he introduced himself and mentioned his growth goals.

But this operator faced a critical problem. He was handling all his sales calls himself and couldn’t scale his ad spend because his booked calls would be more than a week out. Anyone running call funnels knows that destroys show rates, according to research on sales call scheduling and conversion rates.

He had everything ready: a huge library of recorded sales calls (both successful and unsuccessful), documented SOPs and systems, and intimate knowledge of exactly what to teach and what to avoid. Everything was in place.

But his single unanswered question kept him stuck: “How do I hire closers directly without going through a sales agency?”

That one question paralyzed forward movement. He justified inaction because he was “too busy” to figure it out. I simplified it for him, posted asking if anyone needed a closer job, and he got flooded with applicants.

I also sent him a complete video detailing exactly what to do step by step to recruit on an ongoing basis. He set up a group interview first, then individual calls with the candidates he liked. After about eight interviews, he found one or two he really connected with and hired one immediately.

That is the process. The ripple started. First came the interviews, then hiring, then training, then getting them on calls. The ripple started small but expanded outward.

As soon as we got him past that unanswered question, progress happened immediately. Not instant revenue, but the process initiated. That is what matters.

What Happens When You Let Problems Sit for Years Instead of Weeks

I recently had a sales call with an operator who’d been stuck at the same revenue level for three full years. Not three months. Three years.

He’d been rotating between two funnel strategies. DM ads would work for a while, then stop. Then he would switch to a VSL call funnel that would work for a while, then stop. Back and forth for three years.

He was working with a marketer charging a couple thousand monthly. This business owner had high cost per qualified call, which for his offer made zero sense. When he would bring up quality issues, the marketer would just say, “it’s your offer type, it attracts a lot of unqualified people.”

When we audited what the marketer was actually doing, we discovered he was sending all unqualified and qualified people back to the pixel under the same standard event. This completely muddied up who the pixel was targeting next. The marketer could not figure out basic optimizations to attract higher quality people.

The marketer’s messaging had not varied at all. He was essentially just a lazy, underpaid marketer with no real incentive to do anything different. He was paid so little that he just maintained a certain revenue level so the justification could be made to keep paying him.

It took three full years for this operator to break that cycle and talk to someone who could actually help him move past that ceiling.

When we came in, there were multiple actions that could be taken. We started with the highest-probability, highest-priority actions to drive revenue and rapidly worked through that list.

We shifted the entire organization from this relaxed “it’s another month” mentality to full tweaker mode. Speed. Urgency. Identifying problems and attacking them immediately. Offense, not defense. Proactive, not reactive.

How Momentum Works in Business According to Basic Physics

A basic physics principle you probably learned in middle school: an object in motion has a higher probability to move an object that’s not moving when it hits it.

If I come in at high speed and you are going slow, when I slam into you energetically, do you move faster or do you stay at the same speed? Mathematically, unless I am a feather and you are a wall, you are going to move faster.

That does happen sometimes when someone tries to enter a huge corporation. The corporation acts as the wall, and the energy bounces back. But as long as you are a lean organization, having someone come in and create that type of energy works.

The best part: you do not need me to come in and create that energy. You yourself can enter tweaker mode. As a result of you starting to move faster, everything else around you starts to move faster through that ripple effect.

Tweaker mode accomplishes so much in such a short duration. It creates this urgency: “I have got to get all these problems solved, I have got to move this forward.” You are not sitting on unanswered questions anymore. You are getting them solved in a tight timeframe.

Why Your Environment Doesn’t Dictate Your Operating Speed

One Inner Circle member has been running a substantial operation. He has been discussing his growth goals with me for about six months.

When you examine his life, it is very relaxed. He travels frequently for short trips. He has multiple residences, and these different environments make a huge difference in how he operates.

He has one place that is slower-paced where he says he can “lock in,” and another place where there are always distractions. He has defined his environments to have one be beneficial and one be a giant distraction.

That is not how tweaker mode works. Tweaker mode is an inherited mental state you can enter into wherever you’re at. The environment does not matter. The previous conditions do not matter. None of that matters.

Tweaker mode is like a switch. You flick it and you are in the zone. It is go time. You kick it up.

This operator exists in a relaxed culture he has created for his life, and all the people around him participate in that same mindset. You do not get things done when you are in that state.

To be fair, I do not want you in tweaker mode 24/7. You need to know when to turn it on and when to relax. High performers can flick the switch off just as much as they can kick it into a gear way higher than most people.

Relaxing is great. Traveling is great. Having fun is great. Going to bed in a restorative state is great. But you have got to be self-aware enough to observe when things in your organization are moving at turtle speed. And you have got to know when to kick it up and annihilate all the stagnation.

Creating Impact Like a Cannonball Instead of a Perfect Dive

Think about a diver at the Olympics. Their form is so precise, so perfect, that when they hit the water, it barely moves. They get scored higher when they accomplish that minimal splash.

Compare that to a belly flop. A belly flop creates enough inertia and momentum to kick water out of the pool.

When you are trying to scale, you want to be the cannonball, not the perfect dive. You want to create a massive splash. You want to impact everything around you.

When you are in turtle speed, barely moving forward, you are doing perfect dives into the water. You are barely causing anything around you to move. You are creating as little impact as possible.

That is not what you want when there is a stacked quantity of problems and unanswered questions holding you back. You want to move forward faster by embodying tweaker mode.

The Direct Correlation Between Problem-Solving Speed and Business Growth

The speed at which you solve problems dictates the speed at which you progress. Solve problems slowly, progress slowly. That might be exactly why you have been stuck.

That might be the primary reason you have not been able to make as much forward momentum as you think you should. You are not creating enough energy. You are barely making a ripple.

I have been seeing this repeatedly with the businesses I work with. Tweaker mode creates forward movement because it forces you to radically move through problems at high speeds.

When I work with students in my Inner Circle, I press them hard when I can tell they need this kind of push. I am very intolerant of my students not moving forward because they’re a representation of my ability to help them get results.

The businesses I have worked with that have grown substantially all had this in common. They entered tweaker mode at some point. They stopped justifying why they couldn’t move forward. They stopped letting unanswered questions pile up. They started attacking problems with speed and urgency.

Research from Harvard Business Review on organizational agility shows that companies that solve problems faster tend to adapt more quickly to market changes. This aligns with what I’ve observed in my own consulting work.

You Can Flip This Switch Today Without Perfect Conditions

The reason I’m writing this is simple. You can flip this switch today. Right now. You do not need perfect conditions. You do not need a different environment. You do not need more resources.

You need to identify the unanswered questions in your business that are stalling your progress. Then you need to attack them with urgency. Get answers. Deploy solutions. Move to the next one.

That client who needed to hire closers? He was stuck because of one unanswered question. Once we got him past that question, the ripple effect started. Progress began immediately.

That business owner who was stuck for three years? It was a combination of about five unanswered questions. As soon as we came in and answered those questions, deployed solutions, and shifted the organization into tweaker mode, everything changed.

These are not special people. They are not lucky. They learned to operate differently. They learned to move with speed. They learned to attack problems instead of sitting on them.

If you’re looking for structured frameworks on how to identify and solve these kinds of problems systematically, that’s exactly what we cover in Master Internet Marketing, our 7-week live comprehensive training.

How Small Actions Create Expanding Ripples of Momentum

When you throw a rock into water, the ripple starts small. Just one little rock creating one little circle. But that diameter keeps growing. The circumference of the ripple gets bigger and bigger.

That’s how tweaker mode works. You do not need instant revenue. You need to start the process. You need to create that first ripple.

Every time you answer a question that’s been holding you back, you create momentum. Every time you solve a problem with urgency instead of letting it sit, you build energy. That energy compounds.

The businesses I have worked with that scaled substantially did not do it by operating at the same speed as everyone else. They did not do it by maintaining the status quo. They did it by entering tweaker mode and staying there until they broke through.

You have got everything you need right now to start moving faster. You have got problems you already know about. You have got questions you have been avoiding. You have got solutions you have not implemented because you have been “too busy.”

7 weeks. Real frameworks. Covering copywriting, funnels, paid ads, and conversion systems.

What to Do Right Now to Start Moving Faster

Flip the switch. Enter tweaker mode. Start attacking those problems with urgency. Get answers to those questions. Deploy solutions rapidly. Create the energy that moves everything around you.

The speed at which you solve problems dictates the speed at which you progress. If you have been stuck at the same revenue level for months or years, it is because you are solving problems too slowly. You are operating at turtle speed when you need to be in tweaker mode.

According to McKinsey research on operational efficiency, organizations that prioritize rapid problem resolution see measurably different growth trajectories than those that don’t.

These systems are designed to help businesses break through revenue ceilings by identifying and solving problems faster. In my experience working with businesses across different industries, the ones that scale fastest are the ones that operate with the most urgency.

Examine your business right now. Identify the top three unanswered questions that are holding you back. Not the small stuff. The big stuff. The problems that, if solved, would move the needle significantly.

Then attack them. Today. Not next week. Not when you have more time. Today. Get answers. Deploy solutions. Start the ripple effect.

That is tweaker mode. That is how you get unstuck. That is how businesses grow past plateaus.
